“ACTUALLY, if you want my opinion as a sociologist, you need to monitor the family. These people are “coming in” as naturalized citizens in most cases. Countless children are adopted or birthed for the purpose of selling sexually and live in “families” that hide the true nature of the crime. Selling children at a port is risky and not many criminals would be willing to take that risk. A simple once-yearly interview with each child by a social worker or therapist would afford these invisible children at least some chance to get help or be listened to.”
