Countless children are adopted or birthed for the purpose of selling sexually and live in “families” that hide the true nature of the crime. Selling children at a port is risky and not many criminals would be willing to take that risk. A simple once-yearly interview with each child by a social worker or therapist would afford these invisible children at least some chance to get help or be listened to.”
