Oakland Council Member Desley Brooks versus Occupy Oakland at Tuesday’s city council meeting during the vote on a measure to ask the city to use “whatever legal means” to keep the Port of Oakland open despite any potential future Occupy-led shutdown attempts.
“You are not my sister. Do not invoke my name. I’m ashamed of you,” former Black Panther chairwoman Elaine Brown says near the end.
Brooks leaned back in her chair, crossed her arms, and said “Fine, you are not my sister either.”
